Good times last time at the fashion show! Saw quite a few new faces and loved seeing our favorites too! Big Fat Fish Co. came to the rescue when our first restaurant backed up last minute. The Fat Fish made an amazing spread of food! The polenta was awesome so were the Mahi skewers. Jody made King's Cake. This was her very first time making bread - did not realize that it was an all day affair! Knead this, rise, punch it, rise, twist, rise....wow! Jody wouldn't have survived on the homested way back when!
Great shoes were on display - the models always look fabulous! My favorites of the night were the Hispanitas and Sofft. The gals all donned mardi gras masks and feather boas. At the end of the night,fun surprise...the pink on the mask Sarah was wearing ended up all over her face! Luckily with a baby wipe and some elbow grease, it came off.
Jody, the MC, tried her best to dress in Mardi Gras fashion. She had to take off the purple and green crwon, it was a bit much!
We love putting on these shows and can't wait to plan the one for Fall.
