I still can't believe that we are actually here in Milan at the shoe show. This place is pretty overwhelming. There are at least 10 buildings filled with shoes an another 3 more filled with handbags. The shoes are all to die for. There are quite a few with 5in or taller heels. Not quite right for our store but pretty fun to look at.
Still haven't figured out quite how to bring the shoes home and how to work out the pricing. We will be able to have some brands that are maybe carrying in one other store in the US. How fun is that! Everything here is in Euros and then you have to convert and add a tariff to the pricing. Makes it a bit confusing.
The Italian Trade Commission is treating us very well. The hotel is beautiful. The meals are excellent and their staff is quite wonderful. This is a once in a lifetime experience. I am so thankful I was able to come.
